Main Focus
My research explores the ecology and evolution of collective dispersal in Caenorhabditis apta. I investigate how and why nematodes form dispersal towers in natural populations, and how environmental conditions, life stage, and individual variation influence this behaviour. By integrating field ecology, behavioural experiments, population genomics, and evolutionary genomics, I aim to uncover the links between genotype and phenotype and understand how genetic variation shapes dispersal strategies and collective behaviour over evolutionary timescales.
