Our new paper on associations between local Caenorhabditis species and their vectors is out in Ecology and Evolution. In addition to our local sampling, we collaborated with Marie-Anne Félix to describe the previously unnamed "C. sp. 8" as Caenorhabditis apta, and with Christian Braendle to incorporate global Caenorhabditis sampling data. The MPI-AB media team wrote up a nice press release about the paper, Beetles are likely dispersal vectors for “towering” worms, featuring some amazing beetle photos from Gustavo Alarcon-Nieto.
