Main Focus
My research explores the collective dispersal behavior of dauer-stage Caenorhabditis nematodes, with a particular focus on tower formation. I am interested in how food availability, environmental stress, and microbial signals influence the formation and stability of nematode towers. Specifically, I aim to investigate whether microbes, microbial metabolites, or volatile compounds associated with rotting fruits can promote tower formation, thereby enhancing nematode dispersal and increasing their chances of contact with animal vectors.
